About Us
Bridging The Gaps organizes to ensure that the most marginalized members of our community are being connected with necessary supplies and support in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene’s devastating impact on Asheville and Buncombe County.
Bridging The Gaps is a collaborative initiative between multiple organizations. By working together, we are able to maximize our collective impact; by taking on differentiated roles, we are able to focus on different aspects of the complex and evolving situation. Our goal is to offer immediate support during this initial phase of the crisis in Western North Carolina, while also beginning to lay the groundwork for how our region can be rebuilt to be stronger, more equitable and more racially just than it was before the storm.
